Overview

Objective

  • The KCCNY x EnoB Spring Concert is an annual collaborative event presented by the Korean Cultural Center New York (KCCNY) and EnoB, a nonprofit dedicated to spreading happiness through music and culture. I was the lead designer for the 2025 KCCNY x ENOB Spring Concert, responsible for various spatial graphic elements throughout the venue. One key feature was replacing the traditional entrance banner with an LED screen that showcased the concert’s branding, creating a more immersive visual experience for visitors as they entered the space.

Ideation

Translating Key Words into Visuals

  • The visual identity for the KCCNY x EnoB Spring Concert was built around three key words: classical music, spring, and warmth.
The goal was to bring these elements together in a simple, cohesive design. I used a serif typeface to reflect the elegance of classical music, abstract floral shapes to capture the feeling of spring, and a soft pastel palette to convey warmth. Through iterative design exploration, I refined the visual language to create a balanced and expressive brand system.

    Reflection

    • This project was a great opportunity to work on a collaborative branding effort between two organizations. I focused on creating a visual identity that honored both KCCNY and ENOB while creating something new and exciting for their spring concert. The process taught me the importance of balancing multiple brand voices in a single cohesive design system.

    Next step

    • The next phase would involve implementing these design guidelines across all promotional materials and gathering feedback from both organizations. Additionally, creating templates for future collaborative events would help maintain consistency and efficiency.
